Senior Compliance and Enforcement Officer needed in Basingstoke. This is a temporary contract initially paying £37.14ph PAYE. The successful candidate will support the delivery of an effective compliance and enforcement service covering all types of unauthorised developments relating to the Planning Acts and to ensure that development is carried out in accordance with approved plans.
This will require managing the more complex compliance and enforcement investigations into reported breaches of planning control as well as appeal work arising from enforcement action. The successful candidate will have expertise and experience in town planning and planning enforcement, be highly motivated and well organised with good communication and negotiation skills. The candidate will also be expected to be a good team-player and contribute to the overall work of the team.
