Health & Safety Compliance Officer to support the safe and compliant delivery of our waste and recycling services across the borough. In this operational role, you’ll work closely with frontline crews, supervisors, and managers to ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation. You’ll carry out inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and use CCTV and on‑site monitoring to promote safe working practices and a positive safety culture.
About you
You’ll have experience in a health and safety role within a high‑risk or operational environment, strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, and the confidence to engage with frontline staff. Experience in waste services or local government and a NEBOSH qualification are desirable.
