Building Control Officer needed in Rotherham, £50 - £60ph. This role focuses on domestic and small dwelling projects—including extensions, housing sites, new builds, and alterations to existing houses. No commercial properties or flats are involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 8–10 site inspections per day within the local area.
- Perform plan checking for projects outside the local area.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
- Provide clear, accurate reports following inspections.
- Liaise with contractors, developers, and homeowners to resolve compliance issues.
- Support the team during permanent recruitment coverage.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
