This role involves direct customer contact, payment negotiation, verifying liabilities, discounts, and exemptions, liaising with third parties, and taking appropriate recovery actions tailored to individual circumstances.

    Key Requirements:

    Extensive experience with NEC (Northgate Revenues) and Council Tax legislation . Experience with Civica Collect (Onestep) is desirable. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage sensitive cases with professionalism and empathy. Willingness to attend offices or surrounding areas at least 2 days per week . May involve occasional home visits .
