We are seeking an experienced Revenues Officer to join our team, focusing on reducing arrears and positively influencing customer payment behaviours. This role involves direct customer contact, payment negotiation, verifying liabilities, discounts, and exemptions, liaising with third parties, and taking appropriate recovery actions tailored to individual circumstances.
Key Requirements:
Extensive experience with NEC (Northgate Revenues) and Council Tax legislation . Experience with Civica Collect (Onestep) is desirable. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage sensitive cases with professionalism and empathy. Willingness to attend offices or surrounding areas at least 2 days per week . May involve occasional home visits .
