Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain accurate records for Council Tax, Business Rates, and Sundry Debt accounts, including applying exemptions, discounts, and reliefs.
  • Process billing and authorise invoices raised by internal departments.
  • Take secure card payments and investigate unallocated payments to ensure accurate account allocation.
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation and internal procedures.
  • Assist in the prevention and detection of fraud, referring suspicious cases to the fraud team.
  • Set up and manage Direct Debits, handle sensitive financial data securely, and reconcile banking reports.
  • Liaise with external providers, including managing swipe card reports.
