Property Pool Plus Manager needed in Birkenhead Paying £26 per hr ref OR104277 Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Property Pool Plus / Allocations Team, ensuring delivery of an efficient and customer-focused service
- Oversee the housing register, banding, allocations, and appeals processes
- Provide expert guidance on allocations policy, procedures, and best practice
- Build and maintain strong relationships with registered housing providers and partner organisations
- Represent the service in local and sub-regional partnerships relating to choice-based lettings
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to support vulnerable groups, including those at risk of homelessness, domestic abuse survivors, and care leavers
- Manage complex and sensitive cases, working alongside social care, health, and support services
- Respond to high volumes of customer enquiries, complaints, and escalations
- Deliver presentations and training to colleagues and external partners
- Drive continuous improvement, ensuring services are responsive to local housing needs
