Responsibilities
- Provide high quality legal advice, assistance and representation to Client Departments having due regard to all policies, the Constitution and professional conduct rules and discharging the professional duties of a qualified lawyer to the clients and the court.
- Efficiently and effectively deal with case work for client departments as required.
- Attend and advise professional meetings, Committees, working groups and briefing meetings as required.
- Act as an advocate representing the Client at court hearings, tribunals and public enquiries.
- Support and cover for staff, to participate in and conduct performance reviews, to identify training needs and in general to make an effective contribution to the quality management and operation of Legal Services.
