Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will lead, develop, embed and monitor the implementation of the national programmes, working locally as a coordinator of the work of agencies working with families.
  • They will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of the programme and transformation of services aimed at early intervention and prevention and will be accountable for the performance of the programme, mobilising and utilising resources from a range of local agencies, including police, probation, DWP and voluntary sector organisations. To enable the supporting families and family hubs and start for life agenda, to focus on early intervention initiative to prevent the need for statutory services.
