Principal Internal Auditor needed in Leeds The salary is £48,069.00 This is a permanent The reference number is: 0009 5E6C / 1 The successful candidate will lead for development and delivery of a range of internal audit work, including management of a team, for a specified area of responsibility (e.g. Investigations/Transport/Adult Education Budget (AEB) in line with Public Sector Internal Audit Standards. They will identify improvements in internal control, governance, risk management and operational effectiveness and efficiency, liaising and dealing with all levels of employees across the organisation to agree the changes necessary to drive that continuous improvement. They will provide a source of expert advice/consultancy, including attendance at relevant boards, on a wide range of internal control, corporate governance and risk management arrangements.
