As an Insurance Assistant, you will:
- Assist with the administration and handling of public liability and property claims, including those submitted by members of the public or their legal representatives regarding personal injury or property damage.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date insurance and claims records.
- Support the management of wider insurance matters across the Council.
- Assist with insurance-related administration for leasehold and commercially leased properties.
- Liaise professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, including the general public, internal council departments, solicitors and external organisations.
