Delivery Manager needed in Plymouth, £500 Per day PAYE – Reference: 000A D989 / 1
You will ideally have:
- Building tech experience and good knowledge of building regulations
- Able to read drawings and comment on accuracy against installation
- Good IT skills – able to update trackers/internal information (with support)
- Site experience – happy with ex-site managers for this if the IT skills are there
- Health & Safety knowledge and at very least SMSTS
Be an integral part of a Development Delivery Team and contribute to the success of the delivery team meeting its objectives. Work closely and collaboratively with colleagues in the Development Department, in the Directorate, the wider Commercial Company, and the Housing Association. Ensure that projects are effectively managed in accordance with business objectives and scheme approval and accurately reflect costs, income, funding, programme and quality requirements to optimise the benefit to the Group and contribute to its core business.
Use Pamwin and/or other appraisal software to appraise and monitor the financial performance of projects. Build and maintain relationships with Local Authorities, Developer Partners and other key stakeholders. Represent the organisation at meetings/networking events to promote and raise the Group’s profile as a developer of new homes.
Prepare Project Briefs, in liaison with the Commercial & Technical Team to brief and appoint architects and other external consultants required to successfully deliver the project. Review proposals submitted to ensure compliance with internal policies and business objectives as well as funders design, financial and contract criteria. Manage the relationships with Solicitors, Consultants and Contractors/Developers appointed throughout the development process.
