Senior Planning Officer needed in Nuneaton, £20.66ph PAYE - Reference: 5297232. This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
Be committed to the Vision and carry out work within the spirit and intention of its core values. An understanding and awareness of the concept of “Making Every Contact Count” (MECC), attending training where necessary.
To contribute to and assist in the production and delivery of service Development Plans, reports to elected Members, new services and work programmes.
To maintain an awareness of, and comply with, the service standards, performance and quality management arrangement of the service.
To foster an innovative and open environment within Development Control where employees feel supported, involved and consulted.
To show flexibility in responding to change and to make use of the technology available to deliver and improve the Development Control service.
To carry out all the work within the spirit and intention of equal opportunities and customer care, recognising and valuing diversity in the community and workplace and promoting the same.
To work in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and related policies and procedures.
To undertake personal development commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the job.
