Housing Solutions Officer (Hybrid) needed in Nuneaton, £25ph PAYE - Reference: 5288016. The candidate would be required to come into the office twice a week. This would be covering duty and case work on the other days hybrid working. The days in the office are various days covered by a rota.
Responsibilities:
- To deliver an excellent Housing Solutions Service designed around customer requirements, and within the context of the principles set out for developing a stronger, safer, healthier and sustainable Borough.
- To be a key point of contact for service users and stakeholders, ensuring that all services are to standards agreed with partners and customers.
- To deliver the statutory obligations under the Housing Act 1996, Part VII, Homelessness Act 2002 and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
- To determine and administer the requirements of the Homeless Reduction Act 2017, in its Prevention, Relief and Homeless duties.
- To conduct an accurate assessment of customer’s needs, the outcome of which is effectively communicated to them and is laid out in a Personal Housing and Wellbeing plan.
- To work in an enhanced partnership way across the public sector, the voluntary, the community sector and with landlords to offer housing solutions and the most relevant support for the customer.
- To keep accurate records of all cases using the IT infrastructure and procedures provided.
- To deliver training to partnership agencies about the Housing Solutions service.
