NRSWA Inspector needed in Huddersfield. The rate is £30.00ph Umbrella. This is a temporary role. The successful candidate must hold a Full NRASWA Supervisor accreditation and a full and valid driving licence. They will be required to work up to 37 hrs per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday). The role is approximately 25% office and 75% site based and you will be required to undertake duties such as:

  • Monitor and report on works on the highway by carrying out inspections under NRASWA, including inspection of works, reinstatements and ironwork.
  • Ensure that all works promoters comply with signing, lighting and guarding requirements, as required by Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual and Safety at Street Works and Road Works: a code of Practice.
  • Ensure that works promoters comply with the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways.
