MOT Tester/Light goods Technician

We are currently seeking a qualified and reliable MOT Tester / Light Goods Technician to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, primarily focusing on the inspection and testing of local taxi vehicles and some private customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct MOT tests on all Stoke-on-Trent licensed taxis and a selection of private vehicles. Complete 8 MOTs per day , ensuring all inspections meet DVSA standards. Carry out minor repairs and maintenance on our own fleet vehicles during quieter periods. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements:

Valid MOT Tester Licence (Class 4) is ideal. Proven experience as a vehicle technician or similar role. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
