Senior Commissioning Manager Children's Services

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Commissioning Manager to help shape and develop high-quality placements for children and young people. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in Children's Social Care who understands what good placements look like and the impact they have on outcomes.

Working strategically with providers, social care teams, education, health and wider partners, you'll play a key role in increasing placement sufficiency, developing local provision, and ensuring children receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience within Children's Social Care and a strong understanding of children's needs.
  • Can build and maintain effective relationships with providers and stakeholders.
  • Understands placement sufficiency, commissioning, brokerage or service development.
  • Is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.

Β£30.92ph paye or Β£40.03ph umbrella

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
