Automotive Technician needed in Manchester, £20ph PAYE.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the effective deployment of own resources to meet the needs of the service, managing performance and development needs to achieve agreed service priorities.
  • Deal efficiently and courteously with all queries and correspondence from a wide range of internal and external customers.
  • Use initiative and established procedures to resolve queries at the first point of contact or escalate when appropriate within agreed timescales and procedure.
  • Update and extract information from management information systems accurately and competently as required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and customers to schedule services, safety inspections and recalls where appropriate.
  • Effectively maintain the appearance and cleanliness of external and internal equipment, ensuring they meet prescribed standards.
  • Carry out minor on-site repairs and maintenance, using appropriate tools where required, ensuring safe working environments and safe working practices.
  • Manage and undertake order requisitions in line with procedures, budgets and timescales.
  • Effectively monitor the work carried out by external subcontractors to ensure it is carried out to a high standard.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to continuous self-development and service improvement.
  • Ensure diversity is positively valued, resulting in equal access and treatment in employment, service delivery and communications.

Will work a 4 x 9.5hr day per week with 1 moving rest day, Monday to Friday only. This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
