.Join our team as aMaintenance Surveyor, where youll play a key role in managing a £10m regional budget, overseeing contractor performance, and ensuring our homes meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an effective and efficient Repairs & Maintenance service, including disrepair works, major/complex works, FRA, responsive repairs, voids, and adaptations.
- Conduct diagnostic inspections, surveys, and post-inspections, providing accurate technical advice and reports.
- Act as the technical lead during the handover of new developments, ensuring quality control through to completion and end of defects.
- Manage insurance claims, including inspections, decants, and liaison with loss adjusters.
- Oversee legal disrepair claims and Environmental Health Orders, preparing detailed reports in line with group processes.
- Monitor and control a regional budget of approximately £2m, ensuring value for money and compliance with statutory regulations.
- Engage and consult with customers, leaseholders, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction and minimal defects.
