Role Overview

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.

Responsibilities

  • Work with households in temporary accommodation to facilitate their move into settled accommodation, assessing their move-on needs and matching them to suitable (as legally defined) settled accommodation.
  • Collaborate with the Lettings Negotiators in the team to identify required properties and match households to the sourced properties, ensuring no properties are left unused.
  • Set expectations about the most likely route into settled accommodation and advise households on actions needed to successfully move out of temporary accommodation.
  • Signpost households to relevant support (e.g., benefits or debt advice) to position them best for settled accommodation.
  • Manage a caseload of households ready to move on, offering suitable (as legally defined) settled accommodation options such as private rented accommodation, supported housing, direct offer of social housing, choice-based lettings or other options.
  • Review and update household information, housing needs assessment and documentation to ensure household needs are fully understood.
