Senior Criminal Litigation Lawyer needed in North London. Paying £24.81 per hr. Full time hours on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead on a varied caseload of criminal litigation matters, including serious and high-profile cases.
- Provide specialist legal advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and present cases effectively in court, including advocacy in Magistrates' and Crown Courts where appropriate.
- Draft and review legal documentation, evidence bundles, instructions to counsel, and charging decisions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory duties, professional standards, and regulatory obligations.
- Support and mentor junior lawyers, trainees, and paralegals.
- Work collaboratively with external agencies including the police, CPS, defence solicitors, courts, and expert witnesses.
- Contribute to service improvements, policy development, and strategic planning.
