The role is to act as the client’s lead officer on all Council Tax and Financial matters including:

  • To provide assurance that the client is delivering high‑performing, well‑managed, strategic Revenues and Benefits services.
  • Council Tax administration and collection.
  • Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support administration.
  • To direct, lead and manage the provision of high quality, cost‑effective services to the client for the delivery of Revenues and Benefit services and to ensure that the client’s policy objectives in relation to Revenues and Benefits are met.
  • The post holder will lead all aspects of the Revenues and Benefits operations, ensuring the customer is at the heart of the services.
  • Administration of Financial assessments (Adult Social Care).
  • Administration of appointeeships and deputyships, blue badges, 13A Payments.
  • Assume financial responsibility for subsidy management.
  • To deputise for the Director of Resident Service in their absence.
