Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will lead and develop our enforcement and regulatory functions within Building Control.
  • This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance with complex building safety legislation, managing a growing team, and driving operational excellence across enforcement, dangerous structures, and regulatory processes.
  • Lead and manage the Building Control enforcement function in line with the Building Safety Act 2022 and related legislation.
  • Oversee enforcement activity, including investigations, notices, and court proceedings.
  • Manage the Dangerous Structures service, including 24/7 emergency response provision.
