Appeals Officer – Housing Benefit needed in Enfield. This is a temporary contract initially paying £25.47ph PAYE. The successful candidate will provide short‑term specialist capacity to progress a defined set of Housing Benefit appeals relating to Specified Accommodation. Many of the appeals are identical and will be progressed using a test case approach.

The candidate will:

  • Review and manage a defined caseload of Housing Benefit appeals.
  • Prepare First‑tier Tribunal documentation, including (as appropriate): Statements of Case / written submissions, Evidence schedules and indexed, paginated bundles, and Chronologies and issue summaries.
