Essential
- significant experience of working in an adjudication or arbitration role.
- experience of the UK legal system and the functions of Tribunals.
- an understanding of the role and function of local authority enforcement policies and practices.
Desirable
- Experience of working in or for a local authority or other enforcement body.
- in-depth understanding of legal process governing adjudication and arbitration.
- understand the legal framework that local authorities operate in (including the code of conduct)
- understanding of the role and function of an enforcement authority
- understanding of the Estate Agents Act and/or other Trading Standards legislation.
