Litigation Lawyer needed in East London Paying £29.38 per hr ref OR20207
Full time hours on a fixed-term basis
We are looking for a skilled Litigation Lawyer to join our Litigation and Public Law Team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and high-impact cases within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will manage a varied and challenging caseload, with a particular focus on one or more of the following areas:
- Complex Possession Proceedings
- Housing Judicial Review
- Access or Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions
You will be supported by experienced Senior Lawyers and a dedicated team of legal officers and paralegals.
What You’ll Do
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance across housing and public law matters.
- Draft legal documents and manage litigation from start to finish.
- Undertake advocacy in the County Court (preferred).
- Handle cases involving complex possession, homelessness, anti-social behaviour, and injunctions.
- Contribute to the effective delivery of a high-quality, cost-efficient legal service.
- Support the wider Legal Services team by taking on additional work where required and within your competence.
