Responsibilities
- Delivering an integrated housing service at our schemes to older and vulnerable tenants and working closely with other teams, councillors, and Tenants & Residents Associations to achieve and maintain sustainable tenancies in sustainable communities, ensuring the safety and security of older and vulnerable residents.
- Providing a proactive and customer-focused housing management service across a designated area and ensuring that the Client fulfils its legal and contractual obligations to tenants and leaseholders.
- Maintaining the wellbeing and safety of residents in their homes and shared spaces.
- Acting as a regular and visible presence to customers, taking action to ensure that homes and communal areas are safe and well maintained, and providing advice, information, and reports on any housing management matter.
- Championing resident and community engagement and involvement at all times.
The role reports directly to the Lead Officer for Housing for Older People (HfOP) and is responsible for providing a housing management service to an allocated patch of properties. This will consist of HfOP schemes and mixed tenure properties in the community. There is currently no line management responsibility.
