IS Project Manager needed in Liverpool Paying Β£24.72 per hr ref 377946

Full time hours on a temporary basis

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Manage multiple ICT and information systems projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to implementation and completion.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse and validate business requirements, ensuring solutions align with organisational objectives.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations and risk management frameworks.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams, business users and third-party suppliers to deliver projects successfully and within agreed timescales.
    • Manage supplier relationships, including procurement activities, contract negotiations and performance monitoring.
    • Monitor project progress, budgets, risks and issues, providing regular status updates and reports to senior stakeholders.
    • Ensure projects adhere to established project management methodologies, governance frameworks and organisational standards.
    • Plan and oversee system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment and implementation activities.
    • Manage the transition of completed projects into operational support, ensuring effective handover and knowledge transfer.
    • Facilitate project review meetings and conduct post-implementation evaluations to identify lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.
    • Lead risk, issue and change management processes, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are implemented.
    • Promote compliance with relevant Health & Safety requirements, policies and organisational procedures.
    • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, providing expert project management guidance and support.
    • Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring resources are effectively coordinated to achieve project objectives.
    • Ensure projects deliver agreed business benefits, quality standards and value for money while remaining within budget and schedule constraints
