To effectively manage the provision of wide insurance arrangements, services, and processes, including the management of a full internal claims handling service for departments and schools. To provide advice and support on insurance-related matters, including the management of compensation claims made against (liability) and by (property/motor) the council. The role also includes supporting on insurance matters and providing and managing an effective in-house claims handling service to council departments and schools, ensuring that claim trends are analysed and measures implemented to minimise future losses to the insurance fund.
