Hybrid role: 2 days per week in office required.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the investigation and processing of general and commercial property claims, motor claims, public and employers’ liability claims and personal accident and travel claims, in accordance with insurance policies, legislation and deadlines.
- Responsible for determining decisions on claims, some of which will be contentious as to whether they should be paid or not. This requires the gathering, review, and analysis of information to determine legal liability and the size of the claim and negotiation with third parties and their legal representatives.
- Responsible for analysing claims to prevent unnecessary expense to the client by liaising with Client Managers to motivate and persuade them to make changes to their service delivery in order that future claims can be defended.
Employment: Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
