Information Rights Officer - FOI needed in Stafford, at Β£23.37ph PAYE.

Hybrid Working Requirement: Willing and able to work in a hybrid pattern, attending the office in Stafford at least two days per week (in addition to remote working).

You will ideally have demonstrable experience in an information governance role, with detailed legal knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act (FOI), Environmental Information Regulations (EIR), Data Protection Act, and related legislation. Ideally, holds an ISEB professional certificate in Freedom of Information.

Organisation and Prioritisation: Able to organise and manage a busy and demanding workload and motivate/support colleagues as needed.

Communication and Influence: Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.

Analytical and Research Skills: Experienced in researching, interpreting, and presenting legal decisions and case law; able to manage exemptions and public interest tests and present to service leads/stakeholders.

Advisory Capability: Provides expert, legally compliant advice and interpretation of legislation and policy.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
