The predicted salary is between 70000 - 80000 £ per year.
This is a temporary contract initially paying £35.71ph PAYE. The role involves providing a new holistic strength‑based approach for homelessness prevention, identifying and assisting families who may be at risk of homelessness early, and proactively tackling issues before a crisis point is reached.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a new team of Housing Sustainment Officers.
- Develop and deliver tailored advice, assistance, and support to clients who are at an increased risk of homelessness.
- Proactively identify clients at risk through data or referrals from partner agencies.
- Promote the service to internal and external partners and encourage appropriate referrals.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, customers, landlords, and other professionals.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners, including the DWP, Social Care, GPs, and VCS.
