Responsibilities:

  • Managing homelessness prevention and relief cases from application through to resolution.
  • Conducting assessments under relevant housing legislation.
  • Developing Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs).
  • Providing housing advice and homelessness prevention support.
  • Working with landlords, support agencies, and external partners to secure accommodation solutions.
  • Assessing vulnerability, safeguarding, and support needs.
  • Making decisions in line with homelessness legislation and council policies.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with statutory duties.
  • Supporting customers to access temporary or long-term accommodation.
