Homefinder And Registration Advisor needed in Derby

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining the housing register and Homefinder service, ensuring applications for social housing are processed accurately and in line with relevant policies and statutory requirements. They will assess housing need, verify applicant eligibility, award appropriate priority bands, and support customers throughout the rehousing process.
Working closely with applicants, housing partners and internal teams, they will provide advice and guidance, assist vulnerable customers with property bidding, and help facilitate successful move-on from temporary accommodation. The role requires strong administration, customer service and case management skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with customers from a wide range of backgrounds. Experience within housing allocations, homelessness, housing options, social housing, lettings or housing administration would be advantageous, alongside a commitment to delivering a fair, efficient and customer-focused service
