Head Of Service Responsive Repairs (Hybrid) needed in Bristol, £465.55 to 659.60 per day PAYE – Reference: 5295429. The successful candidate will need to work in Bristol, however travel is required to other sites and a strong on-site/in-office presence is necessary. Work from home may be offered at some stage, however this will be only for a few days.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with complex problems strategically, working through a significant backlog of work.
- Address underperforming private-sector contracts that require focused attention.
- Deliver all aspects of a responsive housing repairs service including the improvement of empty homes.
- Surveying, works diagnostics, scheduling, contractor management and customer care.
- Lead service area and work as part of the Housing Service Management team.
- Provide confident leadership and clear management across wide-ranging services to ensure effective strategic development and operational delivery of those services.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in working with a failing service, with a strong track record of delivering successful outcomes.
- Strong focus on compliance, repairs, and customer experience.
This is a full-time role on a Temporary contract basis.
