Grounds Operative needed in Taunton, £12.65ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1533801
To carry out grounds maintenance duties in the Taunton crematorium and active churchyards. Duties include:
- Strimming and commercial grass cutting
- Commercial mowing of lawns and grass displays
- Hand weeding and cultivating flower beds
- Weeding and trimming of shrub beds
- Hedge trimming of hedges and topiary
- Watering of flower beds as required
- Formal planting of beds and shrub beds
- Pruning of rose beds
- Clearance of leaves and detritus in crematorium grounds
- Other duties suitable to the role
The crematorium grounds are visited by bereaved families and hold several funerals daily. Candidates must be respectful and sensitive when working in these grounds at all times.
