Data Protection Advisor needed in Exeter. Paying £14.10 per hr. Full time hours on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on data protection compliance, UK GDPR, DPA 2018 and privacy best practice.
- Support the completion of DPIAs, data mapping exercises, privacy notices, and risk assessments.
- Manage and advise on Subject Access Requests (SARs) and other information rights requests.
- Assist with data breach investigations, reporting, and remediation actions.
- Develop, review and implement data protection policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Work with teams across the organisation to ensure privacy-by-design and by-default principles.
- Maintain accurate records and support administrative and monitoring processes.
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners to promote good information governance.
