Base Duties:
- To ensure that the Council public conveniences are empty by checking all cubicles before locking and opening and locking car parks.
- The post holder will be required to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Always ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and to ensure a safe working area.
- To lock and unlock the facility and to ensure that all keys are kept safely and that all security checks are completed as instructed.
- To maintain and keep cleaning equipment in good condition.
- To assist the public to safely use the facilities.
- To report any faults and defects to the cleaning supervisor.
- To undertake any other duties as directed by the cleaning supervisor.
- To work on own initiative and allocate time between several sites.
- Be able to drive Council owned vehicles.
- The successful candidate will be shown the full route by the cleaning supervisor.
Shift Pattern:
- 4:30am till 7:30am – 8pm till 11pm
- 3 days on 3 days off, 2 days on 2 days off, 2 days on 2 days off.
