Full time hours on a temporarybasis
As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining clean and safe public spaces. You’ll be responsible for enforcing environmental legislation, tackling issues such as littering, fly-tipping, dog fouling, and waste management offences.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol public areas to identify and investigate environmental offences
- Engage with members of the public to promote responsible environmental behaviour
- Issue fixed penalty notices where appropriate
- Gather evidence and prepare reports for potential legal proceedings
- Work closely with local authorities, police, and community groups
