HR Advisor (Hybrid) needed in Bury, £21.60ph – PAYE - Reference: 000A E804 / 1
You will work closely with the HR & OD Business Partner to deliver high quality, comprehensive and people centred HR support throughout the change programme. You’ll act as a trusted first point of contact for managers and staff, offering professional guidance on a wide range of employment matters.
Strong analytical skills (ideally with job evaluation experience) and project management experience will help you play a vital role in supporting the rapidly improving department through the next chapter of a fundamental transformation.
The HR & OD Advisor will provide advice and support to managers on a range of HR management issues including, but not limited to, change management and individual employee relations issues such as Discipline, Grievance Management, Poor Performance, Attendance Management and Flexible Working Applications.
A key function within this role is to develop the skill and capacity of managers to enable them to manage people issues effectively and independently.
The HR & OD Advisor is a member of the HR & OD Team, and the wider People and Inclusion Division, and plays a key role in supporting the review and development of workforce policies, procedures, tools, training, and quality improvement systems.
The HR & OD Advisor will work with the wider People and Inclusion Division to create a high performing, inclusive culture, to continually improve service to the business, positively influencing the team and Directorate’s reputation within the organisation and the community.
You will ideally:
- Have significant experience of leading and advising on change management with the ability to organise and prioritise workload within a fast-paced environment.
- Have experience in supporting HR related projects and delivering solutions that meet organisational needs.
- Have an understanding of dealing with the job evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly develop credibility and strong relationships with key stakeholders within the allocated service areas are also essential.
- You will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified with excellent knowledge of HR best practice and current employment legislation.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
