Expected to undertake specialist or technical assessments / activities and make decisions based on those assessments within the engineering function using skills that would have been gained through professional qualifications and / or practical experience. Roles at this level can be involved in supervising / managing the work of others within an overall management framework.

Role: Under the direction of the Lead / Principal Engineer in the Network Management team to inspect highway works on development sites and within the public highway to ensure they are constructed in accordance with the appropriate standards and specifications and with due regard to Health and Safety.
