Building Safety Coordinator needed in North London. Paying £19.75 per hr. Full time hours on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring buildings comply with relevant health and safety legislation, including the Building Safety Act and associated regulations.
  • Risk Assessments: Carry out regular inspections of communal areas to identify hazards and ensure timely reporting and follow-up of remedial actions.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including Person-Centred Fire Risk Assessments (PCFRAs), ensuring all documentation is accessible and compliant.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with housing teams, maintenance services, and external contractors to coordinate and support building safety activities.
  • Resident Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for residents on building safety matters, providing guidance, reassurance, and support to help them understand safety measures.
  • Team Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the Building & Fire Safety Team to ensure effective service delivery.
