District Estates Maintenance Manager – Voids team needed in Southampton ref 5271122. Full-time hours on a temporary basis. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.15pm and 7.30am - 3.15pm on a Friday.
We are looking for leaders to help in the delivery of several projects within our area. These include, but are not limited to:
- Managing contractors carrying out void repair works
- Overseeing making safe regeneration properties
You will manage the work of the maintenance team operations, including staff, contractors, suppliers, and back-office administrative activities, within council policies and procedures, to meet the aims and objectives of the business/service. This includes working closely with the Housing Investment Team, Housing Management Team, and Tenant Representatives to identify and deliver cost-effective solutions to maximise available resources in improving the condition of the housing stock.
You will promote and enable new areas of business and maintain qualitative standards within commercial work areas.
