Job Description
Disrepair Surveyor needed in Bristol, £231.22 per day PAYE – Reference: 5273233
The surveyors will be required to work on site most days, attending tenants homes, etc. There are approximately 15 people in the teams.
- The role of the Disrepair Surveyor involves managing complaints received as a legal claim (Housing Condition Claim) in partnership with legal services.
- Ensure all legal claims within Repairs and Maintenance are successfully investigated and completed with minimal litigation, addressing tenants' expectations regarding property conditions.
- Responsibilities include conducting thorough inspections, coordinating and overseeing necessary repairs including monitoring the work of the trade teams and contractors, from start to completion, ensuring delivery of high quality work, ensuring clear communication with tenants, providing them with a detailed report to each case, achieving high customer satisfaction within budgetary targets and providing a cost effective, value for money service.
- Champion the customer's experience to improve customer satisfaction, whilst managing expectations.
- To help manage claims brought against the client, find solutions within ICP (Internal Complaints Procedure) and where required, legal framework, to come to a satisfying outcome with and for the tenant.
This is a full time role on a Temporary basis.
