Senior Designer Lead This is a temporary role and the hourly rate is £28.50ph PAYE. The reference number is
The successful candidate will lead and develop a high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary service design function, setting clear direction and assuring the quality of design delivery across the organisation.
They will apply expert knowledge of service design principles — including “service blueprinting, system mapping, journey mapping, process mapping, prototyping and piloting” — to shape complex redesign programmes that improve outcomes for residents and staff.
They will work closely with senior leaders to embed user‑centred approaches, analyse end‑to‑end services, and create evidence‑based design solutions that meet statutory, regulatory and financial requirements.
With strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills, they will build capability and will provide professional leadership to the Service Design team, and ensure all activity is robust, compliant and aligned with organisational priorities.
