Commercial Waste Sales Manager needed in East London. Paying £26.19 per hr. Full time hours on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for commercial waste sales both within and outside designated operating areas, including all directly managed commercial accounts and trading company activities regardless of location.
  • Be accountable to the Senior Commercial Sales Officer for consistently achieving commercial sales targets and delivering agreed business objectives.
  • Manage and develop commercial waste sales opportunities within an allocated territory, adapting to changes in sales areas as required.
  • Ensure daily sales activity and performance figures are accurately recorded and maintained on the company’s CRM and reporting systems.
  • Identify and escape any issues affecting the ability of sales staff to achieve targets, working with management to resolve barriers promptly.
  • Build, maintain, and develop strong customer relationships to secure repeat business and generate future sales opportunities.
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members through coaching, practical sales training, and customer relationship management guidance.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, adjusting start and finish times where necessary to meet customer needs and business operating hours.
  • Report instances of unregulated or non-compliant commercial waste activity to the relevant authorities or internal compliance teams where appropriate.
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating professional behaviour, integrity, and high standards of customer service at all times.
  • Represent the organisation professionally when engaging with clients, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.
  • Create and deliver sales, marketing, and operational strategies designed to maximise customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth in a competitive commercial environment.
