Social Care Lawyer needed in North London. Paying Β£24.81 per hr, ref 013421. Full time hours on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert legal advice, representation, and case management on SEND-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with the Children and Families Act 2014 and related legislation, promoting lawful and fair decision-making.
  • Lead weekly case management meetings with Senior Assessment Officers, advising on tribunal and mediation casework.
  • Triaging tribunal and mediation cases to ensure timely and effective handling.
  • Manage and represent in the most complex tribunal cases, including preparation and attendance at hearings.
  • Provide legal support and guidance across the wider SEND team.
  • Deliver training sessions on SEND legal processes and compliance.
  • Quality assure case bundles to maintain accuracy and completeness.
