Cabinet Support Officer needed in West London paying £22.83 per hr, ref 2317. Full time hours on a temporary basis.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a politically aware and highly organised Cabinet Support Officer to provide essential policy and administrative support to 2–3 Cabinet Members. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role within a bright, energetic, and solutions-driven team—many of whom are graduate calibre. It’s not a traditional EA/PA role, but one where your insight and initiative will help shape the delivery of key priorities across the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide policy and administrative support to Cabinet Members, helping deliver portfolio briefs and strategic priorities.
  • Ensure meetings run smoothly—handling venue arrangements, agendas, minute-taking, and action tracking.
  • Work collaboratively with local businesses, voluntary and community sectors, and partners to support borough-wide ambitions.

The ideal candidate:

  • Strong minute-taking and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
  • Political awareness and experience working in community/political settings.
  • Availability for 3–4 days in the office, with occasional evening meetings.
