Building Engineer needed in Haverigg, paying £12.99ph - Reference: 447347

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm

Responsibilities:

  • Customer liaison: Be the day-to-day contact for site-based staff at customer premises. Check understanding of task status, any problems, and opportunities for further work. Ensure that other staff/contractors under Amey control operate correctly.
  • Reactive response: Provide the first point of response for reactive calls. Tasks may be outside the engineer's skill set but they will act as a liaison for other resources.
  • On-site resource: For large premises, the engineer may be based on-site and attend other sites as needed.
  • Routine PPMs: Conduct routine planned preventative maintenance tasks within competency and workload.
  • Asset verification: Ensure asset listings are up-to-date and report inconsistencies or changes.
  • Logbooks: Keep site logbooks current and correctly completed.
  • Dilapidation reports: Identify additional works and plant condition for asset management.
  • Lifecycle management: Be aware of asset conditions and maintenance approaches.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
