Panel Administrator / Note Taker – Child Protection (Hybrid) needed in Yate, Bristol, £13.90ph PAYE – Reference: 372562.

There is an expectation of travel around South Gloucestershire to attend child conference meetings, 3–4 times a week.

As an Administrator/Note Taker you will be providing vital support to our Independent Reviewing Officers to help deliver the best possible services for local people. You will be responsible for arranging meetings, taking minutes and notes at confidential and sensitive Child Protection meetings, and distributing them.

You will be part of a small, experienced team who are friendly and welcoming; training and support will be provided. The team are currently hybrid working, a mixture of remote work and working in the office.

What will you be doing?

  • You will provide administrative support, prepare for, and arrange statutory Child Protection meetings.
  • You will attend meetings either virtually or in person at venues across South Gloucestershire, providing note taking and ensuring they are clear and accurate.
  • You will accurately record information into the central computerised system and distribute minutes within required statutory timescales.
  • You will monitor and prioritise the flow of incoming work via a shared mailbox or internal computerised system and ensure documentation is correct and input accurately.

What you need to know

Hybrid working – there will be an expectation of travelling around South Gloucestershire to attend child conference meetings 3–4 times a week. You will be expected to travel throughout the authority and surrounding area, so you must have a full, valid driving licence with regular access to a vehicle or have an alternative means of travel. Travel expenses will be paid.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
