- Assess planning submissions against national and local validation requirements.
- Support the validation team by advising on queries and improving processes.
- Update and develop validation guidance notes and procedures.
- Initiate consultations and publicity for planning applications.
- Help ensure applications are processed in line with service targets and priorities.
